I’ve recently discovered my new favorite breakfast smoothie. It’s the perfect combination of flavors and has ingredients that will keep you full in the morning. I’ve always loved peanut butter on my toast for breakfast, but never thought about putting it into a smoothie. Once I tried it, I was hooked!

Yield: 2 servings


2 cups unsweetened almond milk (I prefer Trader Joe’s)

1 frozen ripe banana, pre-sliced before frozen

1 handful frozen berries (mixed berries, or strawberries)

1/4 cup almond or peanut butter

2 tablespoons chia seeds


In a blender, combine all the ingredients. Blend until no chunks remain and the mixture is thoroughly incorporated. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
